Conformation Competition

Point score show are all shows held in Western Australia which have an overseas or Eastern States judge. The SBTC Open Show is also included in the Point Score Competition. The SBTC of WA Specialty Championship Show is allocated double points for class wins. Challenge winners are allocated an extra 10 points at the Championship Show.

The competition runs from the Western Classic until the 28th February. No charge will be made for this competition. Only financial members of the SBT Club of WA are eligible for this competition. Owners of dogs competing in this competition must be financial members of the SBT Club of WA at the end of the Club’s financial year in order to win the competition.

Points which may be scored;

 

Provided 3 or more entered in a class
1st place                                             3 points
2nd place                                          2 points
3rd place                                            1 point

If only 2 entered in a class
1st place                                              2 points
2nd place                                            1 point

If only 1 entered in class
1st place                                                1 point

 

 

Challenge:
Additional points are those on the challenge certificates minus 6 points, not including extra points gained for BOB or Group wins.

Reserve Challenge:
Additional points are half those points gained by the challenge winner.

Obedience Competition

All members competing in Obedience Trials are encouraged to submit their best 3 qualifying scores during the year for the Obedience Point Score Competition.

All point scores submitted must be obtained whilst the owner was a member of the SBTC of WA.

The competition is run on three levels;

Novice – Companion Dog (CD) [Three qualifying scores whilst a member and obtained within the current financial year of the Club]

Open – Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) [Three qualifying scores whilst a member and obtained within the current financial year of the club.]

Utility (UD) [as per Open]

Novice competition scores are counted in the Club competition. Any dog gaining a leg in agility or tracking will qualify for an extra 10 points.
